Following the successful launch of the OnePlus 12 series earlier this year, OnePlus is now bringing some much-needed changes to its Nord range with the addition of the OnePlus Nord CE 4 5G. The latest mid-range smartphone from OnePlus will be unveiled at a launch event at 6:30 pm today.
Ahead of the official unveiling of the smartphone, OnePlus has revealed some key specifications. The Nord CE 4 5G is confirmed to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset and paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM (support for 8GB virtual RAM) and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The CE 4 5G will also come with up to 1TB of expandable storage via the microSD card slot.
The upcoming smartphone will also be the first in the Nord range to support 100W SuperVOOC charging, which is claimed to take the phone from 0-100% in just 29 minutes. The design of the Nord CE 4 5G is inspired by the OnePlus 11R Marble Odyssey Edition and the smartphone will be available in 2 colourways: Dark Chrome and Celadon Marble.

In terms of display, the Nord CE 4 5G could feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with support for 120Hz refresh rate and a screen-to-body ratio of 93.4%. Furthermore, the Nord CE 4 5G will come with Aqua Touch support, previously seen in the OnePlus 12 lineup.

The OnePlus Nord CE4 is set to launch in India on April 1st at 6:30 PM IST. The handset will be on sale in the country via Amazon and the official OnePlus website. There are chances the phone may also be on sale through offline stores like Croma, Reliance Digitial, etc.

OnePlus Nord CE4 is tipped to be priced at Rs 24,999 for the 8GB+128GB model and Rs 26,999 for the 8GB+256GB version.
In comparison, the OnePlus Nord CE3 started at Rs 26,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant and Rs 28,999 for the 12GB+256GB model.

OnePlus Nord CE4 certifications

OnePlus Nord CE4 bagged the BIS certification back in February and bears the model number CPH2613. This is mandatory for any phone or electronic device launching in the country.
The handset was also listed on the Camera FV-5 platform and this revealed the camera details. The listing suggests the Nord CE4 would house a 50MP primary camera (pixel binned to 12.6MP) with f/1.8 aperture and OIS+EIS. There might be a 16MP shooter on the front for selfies.

OnePlus has already revealed the design of the upcoming Nord CE4, at least from the back. The Celadon Marble color, in particular, is eye-catching thanks to the marble-liking finish. The phone will also be available in a Dark Chrome colour option. The rear panel, which is likely glass, has a vertical camera module that will house two cameras and an LED flash.
On the front, the phone gets a center-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter, flat edges, and narrow bezels. The volume rocker and power button are on the right side. The OnePlus Nord CE4 has a boxy frame with rounded edges for a better grip on hands.

The OnePlus Nord CE4 is tipped to sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ LTPS AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter. The handset will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC paired with Adreno GPU for graphics. The chipset is paired with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 storage, which is further expandable via a microSD card.
The upcoming OnePlus phone runs on Android 14-based OyxgenOS 14 custom skin out of the box. There is a 5,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. This is claimed to be the fastest-charging Nord phone ever launched by the brand.
Moving to cameras, the OnePlus Nord CE4 features a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary camera with OIS and an 8MP secondary sensor. There is a 16MP shooter on the front for selfies. The handset could house an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
